Laurie Woodford is a memoirist, novelist, educator, and death doula. Her books include Unsettled: a memoir, The Heart Hitch, Stop and Gogh, and Writing Life Stories. Before writing full-time, she taught college English in the U.S., China, and South Korea and has facilitated writing workshops in public schools, prisons, and senior communities. When Laurie’s not writing, teaching, or spending time with her amazing husband, Bruce, and wonder dog, Journey, she volunteers for hospice as a certified end-of-life doula.
