Completed the Central Texas Regional Police Academy in March of 1985. Since then, he has served as a Deputy Sheriff, State Trooper, Texas Ranger, DA Investigator, Constable and Sheriff of Williamson County as of January 1, 2025. .He has specialized in weapons and tactics, firearms instruction, digital police photography, dignitary protection, and reconnaissance. He and M’Lissa have been married for thirty-six years; they have two married children and three grandchildren.
