Philip J. Hohle of Parabolic Media is a leading scholar in the study of how people respond to movies. Hohle studied Radio-Television-Film at UT and earned a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from Regent University. He has published and presented on this topic through the International Society for the Cognitive Studies of the Moving Image (SCSMI). He has also taught film criticism at the university level. Currently, he hosts an occasional series at Film Alley titled Faith and Film.
