Colonel (Ret.) Fred Stein served more than 27 years on active duty in the U.S. Army, commanding units at every level from company to brigade. He also held numerous key staff positions, including Senior Communications Officer (J6) for Operation Support Hope in Rwanda and Operation Enduring Freedom in Bosnia. A recognized expert in military affairs and communications, he is the co-author of Network-Centric Warfare. Colonel Stein has taught popular courses at Lifelong Learning Georgetown Texas (LLGTX) on the Ukraine War, Revolutions in Military Affairs, and Information and Disinformation. His extensive military leadership and teaching experience provide valuable insights into modern warfare and strategic communications.
